I haven't downloaded it yet, I'll wait until it's a little more mature before downloading.Īs far as I can remember, Gimpshop is a very poor hack, which is only intended to reassure people who are afraid by the "weird" aspect of Gimp windows! Hey thanks for the link fotocomics! There's a 2.4 in the works for PPCs. I don't know much of MAC so i'm not sure this may helpĢ.4 run in MAC OX, maybe you may find there links to something specific for PCC There isn't a PPC version of Gimp 2.4 yet so I'm stuck with 2.2.11 and ufraw does support Pentax DSLRs (i think). I thought about downloading gimpshop but with my internet connection it will take a while and might not even fully download. PhotoComiX (a group admin) edited this topic ages ago. Then i use windows and not Mac so may be some difference. Then i don't know how ufraw hand PEF file, but if he does (should be a compatibility list on their side, should be not other problem)everything should work Then may be some remaining issue but as far i know most problem related to tiff where solved in gimp 2.4 Maybe choosing gimpshop that is a bloated, but old and very poor hack based on outdated version of gimp, instead then Gimp 2.4. After the installer showed that UFRaw was successfully installed I tried opening a PEF file with GIMP, all I got was TIFF errors and a checker board window instead of an image.
Gimp for mac os 10.4 install#
I downloaded the UFRaw-.0.9.1-Gimpshop-2.2.11-20060816.zip file and followed the prompts to install it.
